A memory card (30) is provided with: certificate information which is issued by a certificate issuing authority; a storage unit (302) which indicates the latest version of the revocation list issued at the time the certificate information was generated and which stores certificate information and version information which is associated information; a revocation list receiving unit (304) which receives a revocation list with a version added; and a version verification unit (308) which compares the version　of the revocation list received by the revocation list receiving unit (304) with the version information. The memory card (30) suppresses a writing operation by the revocation list write unit (309) when it is determined that the version of the revocation list is older than the version information.
