Abstract:
An information processing device of an embodiment comprises: an acquisition unit (112) that acquires at least one of weather observation data representing the weather of a target location observed at each of a plurality of observation times, and weather prediction data representing the target location weather predicted by a weather prediction model; a derivation unit (114) that, on the basis of the weather observation data or the like acquired by the acquisition unit (112), derives an index value indicating the level of a threat of thunder/lightning at the target location at each of the plurality of observation times; and a prediction unit (116) that inputs the index value derived by the derivation unit (114) to a model which, upon input of a past or current index value, outputs a future index value, and that predicts, on the basis of the output results of the model to which the index value was input, the threat of thunder/lightning at the target location at a time in the future relative to the observation times.
