Abstract:

An information processing device (2) includes a non-contact reader/writer (90). The non-contact reader/writer includes a coil antenna (110) having a plurality of windings for transmitting and/or receiving an RF modulation carrier signal by magnetic connection. The coil antenna (110) is connected to a transmitter/receiver (92) and is arranged in a space in a case (10) defined by an electric shield (70) and a hull (78) of the case (10). The coil antenna (110) is wound by a predetermined number of times (N1) in a substantially cylindrical shape having a predetermined diameter over a predetermined length (L1) around a single center axis (C1) and has a coil surface (P1) at one end of the predetermined length. No portion of the electric shield (70) is present between a hull portion of the coil surface located on the center axis and the coil surface. The external portion of the coil antenna (110) is at a predetermined distance (d_S2) from the electric shield.
