Abstract:

An information processing device comprises: an extraction unit which extracts a hand region from an image which is inputted by a photography unit which photographs a hand; a reference line determination unit which determines a prescribed line within the image to be a press-down reference line based on the hand region; an assessment unit which assesses that a press-down has happened when the lowest part of the hand region exceeds the press-down reference line; a first location determination unit which, based on the aspect ratio of the hand region when the assessment unit assesses that the press-down has happened, determines a location in the depth direction; a second location determination unit which, based on the location of the lowest part of the hand region when the assessment unit assesses that the press-down has happened, determines a location in the horizontal direction; and an input key determination unit which determines an input key from the determined depth direction location and horizontal direction location.
