Abstract:
Provided is an information processing device that performs processing regarding multivariable data analysis. This information processing device includes: a graph inspection unit that inspects orientations of edges in a causal graph when calculating the intervention effect from an intervention variable to a reaction variable in the causal graph; and a presentation unit that presents, on the basis of a result of inspection of the orientations of the edges by the graph inspection unit, information regarding necessity of orientation setting of a part of edges, specifically, edges adjacent to the intervention variable and the reaction variable. The graph inspection unit inspects the orientations of the edges adjacent to the intervention variable and the reaction variable, and the presentation unit presents the edges which are adjacent to the intervention variable and the reaction variable and for which the orientation is necessary to be set.
