Abstract:
In order to prevent leakages of personal information accompanying image data, recording control of personal information is required. While in the past there has been recording control based on position information, recording control based on information other than position information has not been considered. The present invention performs detailed recording control of personal information by various conditions and in accordance with the situation. To that end, an information processing device that handles image data and accompanying information attached to the image data comprises memory for storing the image data and the accompanying information, and a control unit for controlling recording to the memory. The accompanying information comprises a plurality of items, with a plurality of levels allowing the setting of items to be recorded and items not to be recorded among the plurality of items and level determination conditions for the levels being stored in the memory. The control unit obtains a situation result of the information processing device, determines the level from the situation result and the level determination conditions, and in accordance with the setting information of the determined level, records to the memory those items set as items to be recorded of the accompanying information related to the image data.
