Abstract:
In order to avoid congestion in the collection of information, and thus to avoid an increased load resulting therefrom, this information processing device is equipped with: a prediction means that uses a scheduled transmission/reception count derived on the basis of information collection requests received from applications, and a predicted transmission/reception count predicted on the basis of a history of the transmission of information from devices to the applications, to predict the load for transmitting information from the devices to the applications; and a control means that, on the basis of the prediction result from the prediction means, controls the transmission timing for transmitting information from the devices to the applications, such that the load does not exceed a prescribed value.
