Abstract:
Provided are an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program recording medium by which points can be given in a variety of manners without requiring complicated operations. The information processing device is provided with: an acquisition means for acquiring biometric information of a user; an authentication means for authenticating users by using the biometric information acquired by the acquisition means and referring to a storage means for storing user information pertaining to a plurality of users and point information in association with the identification information of a single point card, the user information including user identification information and user biometric information; a calculation means for calculating, upon successful authentication, a point value in accordance with a combination of authenticated users; and a processing means for adding the point value calculated by the calculation means to a point value which has been stored in the storage means in association with the user identification information of the successfully authenticated users.
