Abstract:
This information processing device collects information for analyzing communication in an onboard network of ECUs, which include an ECU that executes a prescribed control associated with the function of an ADAS. This information processing device has a receiving unit, a specifying unit, and a processing unit. The receiving unit receives multiple pieces of communication data sequentially transmitted in the onboard network. The specifying unit detects a control ending time, which is the time when the executed prescribed control ends, and specifies a to-be-analyzed period that includes the control ending time. The processing unit sorts the multiple pieces of communication data received by the receiving unit into to-be-analyzed communication data received within the to-be-analyzed period, and not-to-be-analyzed communication data received outside of the to-be-analyzed period. The processing unit also executes a prescribed process for analyzing the to-be-analyzed communication data on the basis of the results of the sorting.
