Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a technology capable of improved precision in user recognition. [Solution] An information processing device according to the present technology comprises a control unit. In the event that a user cannot be recognized by means of recognition in a feature value space grounded in registered feature values and acquired feature values of the user, the control unit: causes a storage unit to store the acquired feature values of the user as non-recognizable feature values; selects feature values for additional registration on the basis of the distribution of the non-recognizable feature values in the feature value space; identifies the user associated with the feature values selected for additional registration; and additionally registers the feature values selected for additional registration as feature values of the designated user.
