Abstract:
[Problem] To make user's utilization of AR techniques smoother. [Solution] Provided is an information processing device comprising: a control part for controlling a display device so as to superimpose, on a real space, a virtual object corresponding to a set position in the real space on the basis of position/orientation information indicating the position and orientation of a mobile body; and a correction part for correcting the position/orientation information. When the position/orientation information is corrected from first position/orientation information to second position/orientation information which is discontinuous with the first position/orientation information, the control part controls the display device so as to carry out a transition display, which indicates a state transition from a first display state wherein the virtual object is displayed on the basis of the first position/orientation information to a second display state wherein the virtual object is displayed on the basis of the second position/orientation information.
