Abstract:
[Problem] To achieve more natural and flexible behavior for an autonomous operation body, on the basis of an estimated sound source direction. [Solution] Provided is an information processing device comprising: a behavior planning unit that plans the behavior of an operating body which operates on the basis of recognition processing; and an evaluation unit that evaluates the reliability of an estimated sound source direction. The behavior planning unit plans a direction-dependent operation of the operating body in accordance with the sound source direction, on the basis of the reliability evaluation results of the evaluation unit and past evaluation results. Also provided is an information processing method in which in the following is included: a processor plans a behavior of the operating body which operates on the basis of recognition processing, and evaluates the reliability of an estimated sound source direction. The foregoing planning of a behavior further includes planning a direction-dependent operation of the operating body in accordance with the sound source direction, on the basis of the reliability evaluation results and past evaluation results.
