Abstract:
The present technology relates to an information processing device, information processing method, and program, for enabling improved user convenience. Provided is an information processing device comprising a display control part for, when switching from a first video for enabling viewing from a first viewpoint to a second video for enabling viewing from a second viewpoint which differs from the first viewpoint, controlling a display device to display a transition image which changes effectively continuously and includes a background image of the first video and/or a background image of the second video, being at least whichever of the background images has the lower information volume. As an example, the present technology may be applied to a device for displaying a video in a head-mounted display.
