Abstract:
[Problem] To enable, in a more preferable aspect, the implementation of the recognition of an orientation relationship between an image capturing unit and a detection unit. [Solution] This information processing device is provided with: an acquisition unit which acquires, in each of a plurality of different viewpoints, an image captured by an image capturing unit and a detection result for gravitational acceleration obtained by a detection unit that is supported by the image capturing unit; an image processing unit which extracts a plurality of line segments stretched from the image in the direction of gravity on the basis of a subject captured in the image for each of the viewpoints, and specifies intersections of straight lines obtained by stretching the plurality of respective line segments; and a calculation unit which calculates a relative orientation relationship between the image capturing unit and the detection unit on the basis of the detection results of the gravitational acceleration acquired for each of the plurality of viewpoints, and the intersections specified for the plurality of viewpoints.
