Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program that, in autonomous driving control using a plurality of sensors, enable appropriate acquisition of a substitutable sensing result from another sensor if there is a failure of a specific sensor, without increasing the communication load from when there are no abnormalities in the sensors, thereby enhancing the stability of the autonomous driving control. If a defect of a sensor is detected in a first subsystem among a plurality of subsystems, a second subsystem having a sensor that detects a sensing result substitutable with a sensing result of the sensor of the first subsystem is caused to forward the sensing result of the sensor to the first subsystem. The present disclosure can be applied to a vehicle control system of a vehicle that is autonomously driven.
