Abstract:
This technology relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program which make it possible to suitably transmit a steering reaction force to a remote driver. The information processing device comprises: a delay time period estimation unit that estimates a delay time period until a vehicle, which is the subject of remote driving, will execute behavior corresponding to a remote driving operation made using an operation unit comprising a first steering wheel, with said estimation being made on the basis of vehicle condition information, which is information from the vehicle and includes one or more pieces of condition data that represent a condition relating to the vehicle and that have time stamps representing time of acquisition imparted thereto; and a parameter estimation unit that estimates model parameters, which are parameters for models used in computing a first steering reaction force with respect to the first steering wheel, on the basis of the vehicle condition information and the delay time period. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a remote driving system.
