Abstract:
[Problem] Proposed are: an information processing device with which it is possible, while a content is being outputted, to change output settings for said content in an adaptive manner with respect to a change in viewing environment associated with the content; an information processing method; and a recording medium. [Solution] This information processing device is provided with an output control unit that, on the basis of whether or not a determination that a first viewing environment associated with a content at a first timing at which the content is being outputted is the same as a second viewing environment associated with said content at a second timing subsequent to the first timing has been made on the ground of information about a user who was viewing the content at the first timing, changes output settings for the content to be outputted after the second timing by an output unit.
