Abstract:
The present technology relates to an information processing device and method capable of providing a new style of communication with a host and other expected participants of an event. An LED emits light in accordance with a light emission pattern specified by a combination of light emission parameters indicating the characteristics of the light emission. A communication control unit receives timing information specifying timing or a time point of the light emission, and behavior information specifying the behavior of the light emission pattern, by wireless communication. A control unit controls the LED so that the LED emits light in accordance with the timing information and the behavior information received by the communication control unit. The present technology can be applied to an information processing device which is used as a communication tool.
