Abstract:
An information processing device (10) equipped with: a processor capable of executing IPFAX communication wherein FAX tone signals are transmitted and received as audio data, and executing jobs other than IPFAX communication; a storage unit (12) that stores a first level and a second level indicating a mode in which the processor executes IPFAX communication; and a control unit (11) that determines whether the level stored in the storage unit (12) is the first level or the second level, selects the first mode when it is determined that the first level is stored, and selects the second level when it is determined that the second level is stored. In the first mode, when an execution command for IPFAX communication is received a job that has not been completed by the processor is halted, after which the IPFAX communication is preferentially executed, and in the second mode, when an execution command for IPFAX communication is received a job that has not been completed by the processor and the IPFAX communication are executed in parallel.
