Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an information processing device and an information processing method which make it possible to collect uttered voices of users, and to recognize a specific user on the basis of the numbers of times of utterance made by the users in a predetermined period.
[Solution] An information processing device provided with: a communication unit capable of receiving voice information relating to voices collected by a plurality of discretely disposed microphones; and a control unit which determines, as a specific user who has at least made a prescribed number of times or more of utterance in a certain period, a user identified on the basis of voice information which is received through the communication unit and which concerns a voice collected by a specific one of the plurality of microphones, and controls, through the communication unit, a speaker corresponding to the specific microphone to transmit voice information to be transmitted to the specific user.
