Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an information processing device and information processing method capable of accumulating indirect resource-conservation actions and preferentially providing, to a user, resources in accordance with the accumulation of such actions. [Solution] Provided is an information processing device comprising: a communication unit that receives information obtained by sensing a user behavior; and a control unit that, on the basis of the information, accumulates for each user and in a prescribed storage unit, behavior information reflecting indirect conservation of resources, and when it is anticipated that the user wants a resource, generates a control signal for preferentially providing the resource to the user, in accordance with the accumulated user behavior information, and performs control so that the control signal is transmitted via the communication unit.
