Abstract:
The present invention makes it easy for a visually impaired person to perform an operation by allowing the visually impaired person to point to a desired position on a screen. In the present invention, a process of detecting a user's pointing position on a screen is performed, and a process of outputting a sound corresponding to the detected pointing position is performed. For example, in the sound outputting process, when the detected pointing position is in a specific region on the screen, a sound indicating that the pointing position is in the specific region is outputted. For example, in the sound outputting process, a position corresponding to the detected pointing position is set as a sound image position.
