[Problem] To achieve a speech utterance that effectively attracts interest from a target. [Solution] The present invention provides an information processing device having an utterance control unit that controls the output of a speech utterance, wherein the utterance control unit identifies a target on the basis of an analyzed context and outputs an attractive utterance that pulls a target's interest to an output device. The present invention also provides an information processing method wherein a processor includes controlling the output of the speech utterance, and the controlling the output includes identifying a target on the basis of the analyzed context and outputting the attractive utterance that pulls a target's interest to the output device.
