Abstract:
The present invention performs notification of drive recovery to a driver at the appropriate timing. A notification unit controls notification for prompting drive recovery to a driver. For example, notification is performed by sound output, light output, the display of a letter or a mark, or haptics, etc. A calculation unit calculates, on the basis of the state of the driver, a recovery delay time for determining notification timing. For example, the calculation unit calculates, on the basis of the type of secondary task being performed by the driver and bio-activity observable information of the driver, the recovery delay time in accordance with an observable assessment value. The present invention calculates the recovery delay time for determining the notification timing in accordance with the type of secondary task and the bio-activity observable information of the driver, and makes it possible to obtain a more appropriate recovery delay time and to perform notification of drive recovery to the driver at the appropriate timing.
