Abstract:
Provided is an information processing device that controls sound information in a suitable form, and presents the same to a user acting in an environment, on the basis of state recognition which includes environmental recognition and user action recognition. An information presentation device includes: a sensor for detecting an object; an earhole-opened earpiece that is fitted to the ear of a listener and is provided with a sound generating unit and a sound guiding unit for transmitting the sound generated by the sound generating unit to the earhole interior; and a processing unit for processing sound information about a sound source generated by the sound generating unit. The processing unit acquires sound information about a sound source corresponding to an object detected by the sensor, and performs processing in which a sound image of the acquired sound source is localized while changing the position of the sound image, the localization carried out in association with a position in a three-dimensional acoustic space corresponding to the position of the detected object.
