Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an information processing device and an information processing method with which it is possible to reduce the load of a data process. An information processing device according to the present invention comprises: a data acquisition unit that acquires stream data, which is continuous data, and non-stream data, which is discrete data; a data conversion unit that converts, on the basis of a preset conversion definition, the non-stream data to be linked with the stream data, from among the non-stream data acquired by the data acquisition unit, into simulated stream data that simulates the stream data; a stream processing unit that performs a preset stream process on the stream data acquired by the data acquisition unit and the simulated stream data converted by the data conversion unit; and a non-stream processing unit that performs a preset non-stream process on the non-stream data not to be linked with the stream data, from among the non-stream data acquired by the data acquisition unit.
