Abstract:
The information processing device and the information processing method according to the present invention perform control on a display unit having a display region in which a surrounding area of a subject vehicle is displayed perspectively so as to be visible from a seat of the subject vehicle. The information processing device and the information processing method involve: acquiring information on a route that is planned to be travelled by the subject vehicle and includes a plurality of zones; acquiring a guide speed to be followed by the subject vehicle for each zone on the basis of the route information when generating an image to be displayed superposed on the display region; and setting, on the basis of the guide speed, a parameter that characterizes a part of the image overlapping with the zone on the display region. The information processing device and the information processing method further involve generating an image on the basis of the parameters.
