Abstract:
The present technology relates to an information processing device and an information processing method that, with respect to position detection in which the number of sensors affects the resolution, make it possible to improve resolution by suppressing an increase in the number of sensors. From among a plurality of positions on a plate-shaped body, a position at which pressure is applied is detected on the basis of a first signal indicating pressure applied to the plate-shaped body and a second signal indicating the incline direction of the plate-shaped body.
