Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a detection reliability calculation unit (102) that detects a facial part of a driver from an image in which the driver is captured, and calculates the reliability of the facial part detection; a face orientation determination unit (104) that determines, from the vehicle state, whether the driver is facing forward; a detection reliability storage unit (106) that stores, as a subject detection reliability, a detection reliability calculated using an image captured in a vehicle state when the face orientation determination unit (104) determined that the driver was facing forward; a threshold value calculation unit (107) that uses the target detection reliability to calculate a threshold value for determining whether the posture of the driver has declined; and a posture decline determination unit (108) that uses the calculated threshold value to determine, from the detection reliability, whether the posture of the driver has declined.
