The present invention makes effective use of high-cost content immediately after the content has been acquired. An information processing device that comprises: a user information storage unit that stores user information in which an upper limit cost has been set in association with a user; a content information storage unit that stores content information in which costs have been set in association with content; a granting unit that grants and gives a user possession of content that has been selected from a plurality of pieces of content; a party formation unit that forms a party for the user from one or more pieces of content such that a total cost that is the sum of the costs associated with the pieces of content that constitute the party is at or below the upper limit cost associated with the user; and a substitute setting unit that, on the basis of a user operation, performs setting that substitutes first content that is in the possession of the user with second content that is associated with a lower cost than the cost associated with the first content.
