Abstract:

Provided are an information processing device, a reading system, an information processing method, and a program that allow proper management of articles being moved in and moved out. The information processing device (1) has a flow line identifying unit (2) that identifies a flow line for movement of articles inside a prescribed first region on the entrance side of a gate and a read controlling unit (3) that performs control so as to start a reading process for RFID tags near the gate if the identified flow line corresponds to a preset pattern.
