Abstract:
A system to which the present invention is applied comprises: a processing unit; a plurality of storage devices whereupon data deletion is carried out in block units; a plurality of storage units which are used for storing control information which represents reserve blocks, which are blocks for writing data which are present on one or more of the storage devices which are respectively allocated among the plurality of storage devices; and an access unit which, when a processing unit issues a write instruction requesting a data write to the plurality of storage devices, selects a storage unit which uses control information among the plurality of storage units, and writes the data requested by the write instruction to the reserve block which is specified by the control information stored in the selected storage unit.
