Abstract:

Provided are an information processing device, an information processing system, and an information processing method, with which communication can continue even when trouble occurs in an information processing device that relays data. An information processing device according to an embodiment is equipped with a device interface, a network interface, a power supply unit, a battery, and a control unit. The device interface exchanges data with a terminal device. The network interface exchanges data with a network. The battery supplies power when the supply of power from the power supply unit has stopped. The control unit carries out a conversion process on the data from the terminal device, and then transmits the data to the network. When the supply of power from the power supply unit has stopped, the control unit transmits to other information processing devices, via the network interface, a first message indicating the setting of a pass-through mode in which data is relayed between the terminal device and the network without carrying out the conversion process, and then sets the pass-through mode.
