Abstract:
An image acquisition unit 50 of an information processing device 10 acquires polarized images of multiple directions obtained by photographing an object. An image analysis unit 54 acquires a normal vector of an object surface appeared in the photographed image. A holding position acquisition unit 64 acquires an appropriate holding position when a robot holds the object on the basis of a balance when force is applied in the opposite direction to the normal vector. A physical property acquisition unit 66 acquires mass, frictional coefficient, and softness of the object on the basis of, for example, a balance between gravity and the force in the state in which the robot holds the object. A collision posture acquisition unit 68 predicts a rebounding direction when the robot collides against the object, and acquires the posture that the robot should take in accordance with the direction. An output data generation unit 58 generates and outputs data on the basis of a variety of acquired information.
