Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible for players that have a variety of lifestyles to participate in a game in which real world position information is reflected in a virtual world. An information processing device that is characterized by having: an acquisition means that acquires position information for a plurality of operation terminals that are respectively operated by a plurality of players; an acquisition means that acquires real world map information that corresponds to position information for one terminal device; an acquisition means that acquires object information; an acquisition means that acquires common object information; and a map creation means that, on the basis of the map information, the object information, and the common object information, creates a virtual world map that includes player objects, other-player objects, and common objects. The information processing device is also characterized in that the map creation means changes display positions for player objects on the basis of the position information and changes display positions for common objects on the basis of common object movement information that is included in the common object information.
