Abstract:

A video display unit displays video content in a video display region (102) of a viewing screen (100). A comment acquisition unit acquires comments on the video content being displayed. A comment display unit displays the comments acquired by the comment acquisition unit, in a scrolling manner, on the viewing screen (100) on which the video content is being displayed. The comment display unit displays comments when the positions thereof do not overlap the video display region (102) but hides comments when the positions thereof do overlap the video display region (102).
