Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to allow multiple values representing events in each mesh to be identified more easily when the values are represented by graphic objects having sizes corresponding to the values. In order to evenly separate circular graphic objects corresponding to a mesh from one another, a regular triangle (T) is virtually placed inside each mesh. The statistical values of people by nationality in each mesh are represented by the sizes of circular graphic objects having vertices (A, B, C) as the centroids thereof respectively. In view that circular graphic object groups disposed in adjacent meshes should be evenly separated from one another, θ should be 15 degrees. Furthermore, the distances between the centroids of the three circular graphic objects disposed in one mesh and the closest centroids thereto among the centroids of circular graphic object groups disposed in four adjacent meshes to the one mesh are set equal to the distance between the centroids of the three circular graphic objects disposed in the one mesh (that is, one side of the virtual regular triangle). When the length of one side of a mesh is 1, the length of one side of the regular triangle is 0.518.
