Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to improve the accuracy of an index indicating the growth status of a crop, obtained from an image of the crop captured by an aircraft which captures said image, while reducing the flight time of the aircraft. A crop image acquiring unit (101) acquires an image of a crop region imaged by a drone (20). An index calculating unit (102) calculates an index representing the growth status of a crop in the image, on the basis of the acquired image of the crop region. If a part (low index region) in which the calculated index is less than a prescribed threshold exists in the crop region, a flight instructing unit (105) instructs the drone (20) to capture an image of the low index region with an increased crop image resolution. More specifically, the flight instructing unit (105) issues an instruction to capture an image of the part while flying at a lower altitude than when capturing the image from which the low index region index was calculated.
