Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention mainly is to make it possible to efficiently convey a desired presentation direction to an operating body, and to guide the operating body without using asymmetric acceleration vibrations such as sawtooth waves. The present invention relates to an information processing device (11) including: a planar operation unit (12); a display unit (13) spaced apart from the operation unit (12); and a control unit (16) that causes an operation to be performed on an input unit (15) displayed on the display unit (13), through a contact of an operating body (14) with the operation unit (12). The operation unit (12) is provided with a perpendicular-direction vibration unit (32) that causes the operation unit (12) to vibrate in a perpendicular direction (31) and a planar-direction vibration unit (34) that causes the operation unit (12) to vibrate in a planar direction (33). The control unit (16) is provided with a vibration control unit (35) that causes the perpendicular-direction vibration unit (32) and the planar-direction vibration unit (34) to generate, in the operation unit (12), vibrations in the perpendicular direction (31) and vibrations in the planar direction (33). The vibration control unit (35), when a contact pressure of the vibration in the perpendicular direction (31) generated in the operation unit (12) increases, guides the operating body (14) brought into contact with the operation unit (12) along a face of the operation unit (12), by carrying out a control to align vibrations in the direction of displacement in the planar direction (33) for guiding the operating body (14).
