Abstract:
Provided is an information processing method for assisting a user so that the user can smoothly ascertain required information. According to this information processing method, a computer executes processing of: acquiring classification data (57) in which pixels constituting biomedical image data (58) representing an internal structure of a living body are classified into a plurality of regions including a biological tissue region (46) inside which a luminal region (48) exists, the luminal region (48), and an extraluminal region (45) on the outside of the biological tissue region (46); and creating, on the basis of the classification data (57), region contour data (51) obtained by removing a section of the biological tissue region (46) in which the thickness from an inner surface of the biological tissue region (46) facing the luminal region (48) exceeds a prescribed threshold value.
