Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are an information processing method and device, and a storage medium. An application server receives, by means of a network, a first virtual item identifier and a first account sent by a terminal device, the first virtual item identifier being determined by the terminal device in response to a user's operation on a virtual item display interface, the first account being the account by which the terminal device is logged in when the operation occurs. A first order comprising the first virtual item identifier and the first account is generated and stored. A current receipt, which is provided by a payment system and is forwarded by the terminal device, and a second account, by which the terminal device is logged in when the current receipt has been received, are acquired by means of the network, the current receipt comprising a second virtual item identifier. A second order corresponding to the current receipt is determined from a plurality of stored orders. When a virtual item identifier in the second order is consistent with the second virtual item identifier, and the account in the second order is consistent with the second order, an association is established between the current receipt and the second order. A virtual item corresponding to the second virtual item identifier in the current receipt is sent to the second account.
