Abstract:
[Problem] To create maps efficiently. [Solution] An information processing method according to the present disclosure: creates, on the basis of environment information representing the environment in a target region, a first map representing a region where movement is possible and a region where movement is not possible in said target region; creates a second map representing the region where movement is possible and the region where movement is not possible in the target region by moving a mobile object including a sensor through the target region and observing the environment in the target region; and creates a third map by compositing the first map and the second map.
