Abstract:
Disclosed are an information processing method, a related device, and a computer storage medium. The method comprises: a terminal device acquires characteristic information generated by a user performing a first touch operation at an edge area of the terminal device; and the terminal device determines whether the first touch operation is a valid operation or an invalid operation on the basis of the characteristic information. The employment of embodiments of the present invention allows the utilization of the characteristic information generated by the touch operation to accurately identify whether the touch operation is a valid operation or an inadvertent operation, thus solving the problem in the prior art of poor effects in preventing inadvertent touches in the edge area or unresponsiveness to normal operations in the edge area brought forth by an unclear/improper suppression width setting.
