Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to enable a user to have even more fun than in the past. An information processing device (10) performs image recognition on an image imaged using a display device (20). The information processing device (10) commands the display device (20) to synthesize, with the captured image, a first synthesized image which differs according to the image recognition result, and to further synthesize a second synthesized image at a prescribed position with respect to the first synthesized image. For example, when a landscape is imaged by the display device (20) (fig. 7(A)), a character image depicting a running person is displayed as the first synthesized image (G1) corresponding to the landscape (fig. 7(B)). In this first synthesized image (G1), the region (G2) corresponding to the head of the person is blank. When a user images their own face using the display device (20) (fig. 7(C)), a face image of the user is synthesized as the second synthesized image (G3) onto the region (G2) in the first synthesized image corresponding to the head (fig. 7(D)).
