Abstract:
An information processing system (100) that includes a storage unit (2), a processing unit (3), and an input unit (1). A trained model (20) is trained to reconstruct high-resolution training images (30) from low-resolution training images (40). The high-resolution training images (30) are high-resolution images that have been captured of a prescribed subject by a first imaging system. The low-resolution training images (40) are generated by performing resolution-lowering processing (S304) on the high-resolution training images (30). The resolution-lowering processing (S304) is processing that generates low-resolution images that are as if images of the prescribed subject had been captured by a second imaging system and includes optical system simulation processing that simulates the resolution characteristics of an optical system of the second imaging system. The processing unit (3) uses the trained model (20) to reconstruct (S200) target images (10) at the resolution at which images are captured by the first imaging system.
