Abstract:

In a game program configured from multiple stages, a user may want to easily select and play only a desired stage. The invention is an information processing system, and is characterized by containing: an execution means for executing one application; a group information storage means for storing group information in which are associated multiple execution status information items representing multiple execution statuses of the execution means, multiple content information items that represent content of the multiple execution status information items, and group identification information that identifies groups to which the multiple execution status information items and the multiple content information items belong; and a menu information generation means for, on the basis of the group information, generating menu information that displays the content information contained in at least one of the groups. The execution means is characterized by executing at least the aforementioned one application, by using the execution status information associated with at least one of the content information items contained in the menu information.
