Abstract:
The present invention obtains information on parts embedded in a final product from a range of companies. The present invention comprises: a product life cycle management system, which is used by a manufacturing company that manufactures a final product by embedding parts that operate by software, for managing information on the final product and the parts and the range of disclosure of data relating to software contracted between the manufacturing company and a providing company that provides the parts to the manufacturing company; and a product life cycle management system to be used by the providing company for managing the range of disclosure and software-related data that is data relating to the software. One product life cycle management system requests the other product life cycle management system to disclose the software-related data within the range of disclosure, and the other product life cycle management system transmits the software-related data to the product life cycle management system if the requested software-related data falls within the range of disclosure.
