[Problem] To provide a technology capable of visualizing a minute shape and depicting same as a three-dimensional image. [Solution] According to one embodiment of the present invention, an information processing system is provided. This information processing system comprises a control part. The control part is configured to execute each of the following steps. In a readout step, a plurality of successive cross-sectional images of an object is read out. In a setting step, material information that represents the material of the object is set for a predetermined region on the basis of preliminarily set reference information and the pixel value of pixels in the predetermined region included in the successive cross-sectional images. The reference information is information in which the pixel value and the material are associated with each other. In a reconstruction step, the plurality of successive cross-sectional images including the predetermined area for which the material information is set is reconstructed to generate three-dimensional data of the object.
