Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an information processing system and a storage medium with which it is possible to control issuance of an external notification in accordance with a user's emotion. [Solution] An information processing system provided with: a notification unit for issuing an external notification; and a control unit which, when the notification unit is about to issue an external notification after a user has performed an operation to request issuance of the external notification, causes the notification unit to temporarily refrain from issuing the notification if the control unit recognizes that the user is feeling a negative emotion, and then if the user performs an operation to further request the issuance of the external notification, then the control unit controls the notification unit so as to issue the external notification.
