Abstract:
The present invention provides an information processing system capable of suitably suppressing communication traffic in accordance with the usage state of terminals. In the communication traffic suppression system, a monitoring device, on the basis of communication traffic of data flowing through a network, instructs suppression of the communication traffic of transmission data for each terminal device, whereupon the terminal device, on the basis of the terminal device state of the device itself and the received instruction for the suppression, determines the suppression processing method for the communication traffic of the transmission data, applies the communication traffic suppression processing for the data to be transmitted to the outside using the determined suppression processing method, and performs the transmission.
